Odyssey Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency contracted with multiple insurance carriers to allow us to find the best fit and pricing for our clients and potential client’s insurance needs. To quote insurance proposals, all carriers require information about you to quote said proposals. We collect information from you for the sole purpose of acquiring insurance proposals from carriers. Below is a description of why we collect information and what is done with that information once received.

Types of information collected

We are only collecting contact data from our website such as phone number, name, email address, and what insurance you are interested in. This allows us to contact you in order to discuss and work on insurance proposals you are requesting from Odyssey Insurance Group and our carriers.

Data

We collect the data that you submit to us for contact purposes only. This info is emailed to us and will be deleted from our email inbox once we contact you. We collect additional data over the phone that is required by insurance carriers to receive insurance proposals from them. We only store data in our management system that is multifactor secured if we work on an insurance proposal for you per your request.

Security

All data is secured by our management system and carrier secure servers. These servers are encrypted and require multifactor authentication every time that employees and agents of Odyssey Insurance Group login to their system.

User rights

Any person submitting information to us has the right to have us delete their information from our management system and carrier systems at any time by sending a request to [email protected].

Location

We do not collect location data.

Sharing

SMS opt-in consent or phone numbers for SMS purposes will NOT be shared with third parties and affiliates for marketing purposes. We share the personal data that we obtain over the phone and through email with insurance carriers for the purpose of acquiring a proposal of insurance from those carriers.  We do not sell your data or use if for any other purpose that quoting insurance.
